Extra Curricular English events…

Pupils may want to get involved in some of the extra-curricular activities the English department organise. We encourage students to participate in the annual Readathon and World Book Day events. Students enter the BBC Radio 2 500 words competition in addition to a range of writing and poetry competitions. The English department also organise events both inside and outside school. We have had visits from speakers, in school performances and we organise revision days for students to prepare for their GCSE exams.
