How we intend to use the funding:
After analysing the previous year’s impact, we intend to focus on the following:
Literacy:
- Continue IDL programme and purchase tablets to support delivery
- Phonics intervention
- An additional Numeracy/Literacy lesson timetabled
- Targeted LSA support
- Provide a ‘Summer school’ opportunity to support transition

- An additional Numeracy/Literacy lesson timetabled

The impact of Y7 Catch up funding was monitored in line with the school’s assessment cycle and was analysed to measure progress.

Allocation of funding 2016-2017
In 2016-2017 we used the new KS2 scaled scores to identify pupils for the allocation of £8058. We identified a group of 16 pupils with an average scaled score below 93.
