Open Evenings

You will soon be making choices about which secondary school you wish your child to attend in September next year. Due to the current pandemic, this year our Open Evening is ‘virtual’ on our website.

Via our virtual Open Evening you can tour our school and see what goes on in each faculty area, as well as experience a ‘typical school day’ for our students. There is also a message from Mr Scarborough and the opportunity to submit questions to our staff.

If you can't view our Open Evening, please contact us. We are very open and accommodating to parents and potential students if you wish to ask any questions by telephone or email. Where possible we will try to accommodate visits on working days, by special arrangement.

It is also worth knowing that, as part of our school transition programme, we run a series of taster days where the children can experience a day at Up Holland, introducing them gradually to the school. This gives parents and carers the opportunity to meet key staff and be well informed of our values and expectations. Our transition team place great importance on working collaboratively with primary feeder schools to gather the vital pastoral and academic information needed to guarantee a positive start.
